Recently, I have found the simplification of answers coming from strange places. First I watched the movie called The Fountain. In it came a possible Mayan concept that suggests “death is an act of creation”. This concept seems pertinent to physical death but also to the death experienced as we explore different paths. Wynsong’s recent post expanded on this concept for me. Thank you, Wynsong.
Another concept that I have had trouble grasping is the concept of time and traveling outside of the physical. I was watching an episode of a TV show called Fringe and a visual example was given that resonated with me. The example used was a tube (one end the beginning of time and the other end the end of time). Linear time as we experience it in the physical is like pouring liquid through a tube; it goes in one end and out the other (birth and death). Yet another possibility may exists or was questioned. What if time in reality is more like a sealed tube of liquid with a bubble in it; as the tube is moved the bubble moves freely across the time continuum.
I would venture to suggest that the bubble is the place of higher entity and the linear tube within the sealed tube the physical entity. This visualization seems to simplify things for me and when coupled with the concept of death being an act of creation, removed frustration and impatience.
It seems strange to me that I needed this simplification but it did reinforce what I have felt. I thought I would post just in case others might find themselves caught in the same place.
Walk in Peace, earthwalker
