I thought it might be interesting to get Lodge members to share their views. These are relative to very strange sounds and vibrations that are being reported in rather large numbers in various locations around the globe. Spirit Keeper Posts: 900 Jan 21 12 5:20 AM	I suspect some are fake, but the old saying "no smoke without fire" makes me wonder... why start prank videos unless there was/is a core truth buried in there somewhere. Watching/listening to these... some were just boring noise, but a few really HIT me emotionally - very intense. Not bad, but they made me cry simply from the sound/intensity of feeling. My first thought with the ones that bothered me was deep earth movement. Maybe Tectonic plates shifting?

Spirit Keeper Posts: 900 Jan 21 12 5:54 AM	Ok, I hadn't looked at the 2nd link. Yes, I've heard the hum. It drives me CRAZY. Like a big plane or truck going by. I thought it was a vehicle first few times, but it doesn't fade away, as would happen with something going past. I must add that I've lived on a coastline where I could hear ship engines at night, if conditions were right. They throb, like a pulsing sound. This noise is more a drone, like a plane engine, but deep heavy sound. Oh, also... talking of coastal. We had our house shake gently, vibrating, with soft low sound. That was due to the fact our area was built mostly on ancient sea sand/beach and water coming through this, from underground river, caused some truly odd sounds and vibrations. I'd forgotten that!

Spirit Keeper Posts: 764 Jan 21 12 6:10 AM Honored Senior Member	Hi Cinnamon, I can’t listen to the sound since my sound card just died. However, I would speculate on a few of things. There is a lot of volcanic and seismic activity going on throughout the world. Therein, there could be tectonic plate movement which could be heard. Governments could also be conducting acoustic experiments to determine the detrimental effect of sound on ocean species. They could be doing the same in the air [effect of humans and animals (population control)]. Predator drones are being tested and used by companies (I am not sure what sounds they would make; if any). There is an increase (supposedly) of UFO sightings. If they were closer to earth it is possible that they could be heard. My first guess would be the tectonic plate movement. The cause of increase activity is questionable? Alignments of the solar system, sun flares, digging for oil at deep depths etc are all possibilities. What do you think? What are you hearing? One thing for sure is that the weather patterns are changing. It seems right now that I am in the stage of waiting. Waiting for what? I don’t know. I wonder if others feel this? It also could just be me. It was a long road getting into my new house and I am currently frustrated with the health care system. I am tired. Yet, so many times in the past few months I have wanted to post, but something just stops me. I am not sure what this year will bring but I do believe the ultimate outcome will bring clarity. Just before New Years as I was wondering what the new year would bring I had a vision. In the East out of the grayness (from the northeast ) came a magnificent common barn Owl. He was white and shone with a reflective silver light. He came close and peered into my eyes. In the South, I saw a white Horse running west to east. It remained in the shadows but was running free. In the future, I was simply immersed in the reflective silver light. In a second vision I was just given. I saw the Grandfather (white) struggling and climbing to a single canyon plateau where he laid down. I rushed to him thinking he was dead. He was simply exhausted. After reflecting a couple of days, I asked if that meant he was dying and he simply laughed and said “no earthwalker”. This vision I have struggled with. But it does suggest to me that there will be difficulties that will be overcome. This vision could be completely personal since I do struggle with the frustration of world events and greed. We have been given such beautiful place to live and it is simply not appreciated or a focus. I keep asking why? The earth does seem to cry. I also feel helpless in my ability to influence the whole. It seems a time to just do my own thing and pursue a path towards sustainability. The changing weather patterns, although challenging, have also been a gift. They give us experience. The light around you makes sense, but I can't explain why. Just a feeling. The earth crying is interesting, because I've had three visions on this recently. Well... three visions related to asking Earth Mother what is happening. The first is fairly long. I could copy it from my notes here, or put it up seperately. ? Not sure. Other two were simpler, shorter - Before Christmas I saw Earth Mother (I see her now and then) as a woman squatting to give birth. On New Year's Eve I saw/was shown that the baby's head is just beginning to show. So... earth sounds and birthing? No idea what it means, but it doesn't feel bad, just... intense and tiring. No wonder Grandfather needed to lie down! lol

In some ways I will be glad when 2012 is over so the doomsday prophecies can be removed from the equation. With or without them this year and the next few years will be challenging from a global perspective and I suspect will be frustrating due to the people’s inability to act and even find the truth. I often look at western news media and then go to sites like DEPKA.com from Isreal. It seems we are close to war with Iran but there hasn’t been much reported in any western paper or sites except for conspiracy sites. The truth is probably somewhere in the middle but there is no transparency. So from a physical perspective I see us facing war, facing a global financial collapse, and facing major disruption due to changing weather patterns and earth changes. I do pray that all leaders are guided and do know that whatever happens we’ll come through it but it could be an easy or difficult labor based on our choices. Until money and immediate gain is replaced with a long term perspective for all peoples of the earth, I worry. Getting back to the subject of earth sounds. I was able to listen to them and a few other things came to mind. Fracking for natural gas has to be very destructive of the earth and would cause sounds like some. Oil sands extraction also creates earth sounds. In addition, I wouldn’t rule out HAARP and its investigation of the ionosphere either. However these maybe more atmospheric sound but could also affect weather patterns which could change the earth. Underground facilities are being built and certainly some of the sounds are similar to the sound made as bedrock is removed. Bottom line is I don’t have the answer but pray that the sound may represent or be a precursor to positive change. Walk in Peace, earthwalker

Spirit Keeper Posts: 900 Jan 22 12 7:56 AM	earthwalker I tend to browse the two imbalances - those that think 2012 is us reaching Nirvana and those predicting it's THE END. Between the extremes there are still some basic similarities that come through - those are the stories I tend to look into more closely. No smoke without a fire, but people speculate far too much on what the smoke means beyond the basic fact it is something burning! Namaste

Spirit Keeper Posts: 764 Jan 22 12 9:39 AM Honored Senior Member	White Crow, I tend to be very practical and not spend too much time with conspiracy etc because so much of it is just based on fear. However, I do like to be as prepared as possible. I do have a family to help. I know that globally we are facing financial problems, military problems, population growth and earth changes. Therein, I ask myself if any of these catastrophic scenarios occur and I survive, what will be the outcome? In all cases, I believe we will probably see food and money shortages along with the collapse of basic infrastructures for a considerable amount of time. Therein, rather than dwelling on the possible problem (which I cannot do much about), I ask myself what skills and basic things do I need in order to live in at minimal a changing world. I answer myself and tell myself to get moving. I need to be able to grow a garden and preserve food. I need heat and warm clothing. I need shelter, etc. So I currently have chosen to focus on learning new skills such as making bread from whole wheat berries (I am horrible at it), canning, growing a garden, snow shoeing etc. I have found that it is fun to learn new things and to live a simpler life. By looking at possible futures, I have time to practice these skills just in case they are ever needed. Once I am use to a simpler way of life I no longer need the fear to drive me and it becomes liberating. Admittedly, I will always be frustrated with the mistakes being made even while I recognize that the mistakes or problem yield opportunities as well. They show me the problems that may need to be dealt with and as I overcome the problem I learn and experience what I still need to learn. In the mean time, I live each day in hope. Hope that leaders will also learn and that we will create a future of respect. Respect for each other and our home mother earth. The earth is crying probably from many causes; but she can be restored if globally it becomes a priority. Walk in Peace, earthwalker

By chance on my journies to and from Kent I used to pass a small wind farm on the top of the Pennine Moors and noticed an "uneasiness" I couldn't quite name as I passed. There are four wind farms within a 20 mile radius of where I live totalling seventy six turbines. Now, the science of electricty is not my strong point - but I know that wherever there is a electrical input an electromagnetic wave field is created - this is the science that gave us radio/tv/wifi/mobile phones etc etc etc. I live about a mile at the nearest point from a motorway (interestate) that circles the city of Manchester. In this stretch, the motorway is built in a valley and I am on the higher ground. Even on a Sunday afternoon, when the motorway is at its least busy there is a constant background "drone" from the motorway. Now if you were stood on one of the bridges crossing the valley over the motorway, you wouldn't hear that "drone" on a Sunday afternoon - you would hear the "whish" of individual cars going past, but as the sound rises out of the valley, it appears to me that those "whishing" sounds become synced into a single, lower frequency sound. I wonder if the "hum" I hear is not the sound of the syncing of those wind turbines creating an electromagnetic field that picks of sounds that might otherwise be dispersed in the environment and compresses those sounds into the "hum". There are, on average, approximately 250 tonnes (or tons: don't know which!) of concrete in the base of these (on average) one hundred and fifty metre tall wind turbines. This tells me that the stress forces built up in these turbines are pretty large - and all that force being built up in the turbine is being taken into the ground in the form of energy that must dissipate somewhere - and on the basis that forces can sync and built (in the form of vectors) as they do, a wind farm of twenty-five turbines is creates a force vector of quite major proportions in the earth mother - more than enough on its own, without the magentic field, to create the forces that bring the vibrational effects discussed in Wind Farm Syndrome. Why did our ancient ancestors drag stones from south Wales to build Stonehenge in Wiltshire: was there something about hte "energy" in those stones that made them do that? In an age of electricity we cannot perceive that stones have electromagnetic energy - but all matter has as all matter is made of atoms and perhaps our stone-age ancestors knew this - they may not have known about the atom or what electromagnetic energy was but perhaps, in an era much more sensitive to electromagnetic energy they knew that the stones they chose for Stonehenge had some kind of energy that was superior to stones closer to the Stonehenge site. Having been involved in the photo-voltaic (PV) industry last year I know that photo-voltaic sources are far more efficient in use than wind turbines, a darn site cheaper, less destructive in use and less obstructive if built into new building or even if retro-fitted to existing buildings, yet we keep building ever bigger wind farms - why? I don't know the techology behind PV ie if rare-earth materials are used - so cannot comment on PV production but I would still ask what purpose wind farms serve apart from being a very inefficient source of electricity generation? This question becomes all the more pertinent when one considers the detrimental health effects and the Co2 created in their manufacture and installation? We have approximately 3500 in the UK now and that figure is growing day by day - the word "array" keeps coming into my head - but I dont understand the physics enough to explain what that means. Now, of course, its not just wind turbines that produce electromagnetic fields - anything that either creates or carries electrical current does - overhead power lines, more conventional power stations (including nuclear), substations or even diesel generators or our car engines must all contribute. Okay, overhead or underground power cables have been around a long time - but spaced-out electrical generation on such a wide scale as these wind turbines hasn't. I do know that the weight of water in the resevoir for a new hydro-electric power station in China is thought to have contributed to the massive quake they sustained that killed so many. I would imagine that the electro-magnetic field and vibrations created by the turbines did not help! Current particle physics doctrine says that atomic particles expand a distance of a kilometre in all directions from their centre of spin. I don't understand the wave-particle discussion enough to understand if electromagnetic waves are currently considered to consist of particles - and if so whether that means that the particles within the wave will exert influence a kilometre from the wave, but it strikes me that we, and the Earth Mother, are exposed to a great amount of imposed electromagnetic energy and that cannot be good for us or the Mother: and that at some point something has to give - perhaps we are inducing Mother's labour? Recent studies (US) suggest that there in no syndrome from wind power. However, the noise can disturb sleep for some individuals. I agree with you in regards to solar power but I don't believe solar power would be sufficient alone to generate enough power given todays technology. The sun is out only a few hours a day whereas wind and hydro power operate 24hr a day. A solution may be the use of less power. But currently, I can't imaging individuals (the majority of the people) giving up electric stoves, hot water heaters, heaters, hair dryers, coffee pots etc. Even then (if given up), another alternative needs to be found for cooking and heating. Methane produced from the decomposition of waste materials (primarily cellulose) is being looked at and seems a viable future alternative since we generate massive amounts of waste. In my opinion, the answers aren't easy and will get more difficult as the population increases. Walk in Peacee, earthwalker

I remember going to Canary Wharf in Docklands, London (where all the big banks have their headquarters) when I was working for a company involved in Combined Heat and Power (basically taking the waste products from heating to provide electricity) and Biomass etc back in 07 as a lot of the new buildings in London were using alternative energy sources. I was shocked to see the whole of Canary Wharf lit up despite the fact it was 11.30pm when we came out of the restaurant - okay trading happens 24/7 but I am sure that not every office in every building needed its lights on: ie we waste a lot more power than we use productively. Unlike solar, photo-voltaic does not require sunlight - it merely requires a light source: so in theory a full moon would provide the light for PV, though obviously daylight (though not necessarily sunlight) is more productive. On the systems I was inbolved with late last year each domestic property that had the installation provided a surplus that was put into the national grid - so the system is obviously productive: the theory being that the surplus paid for the installtion over say a ten year period. Of all teh "alternative" power sources I have come across it seems the most productive alternative to central generation. But I wasnt really commenting on the viability of wind turbines - more the ill effects, that the recent study at Manchester and Sydney seem to confirm, regarding teh hum and the vibrations possibly being a result of the electromagnetic fields built up? I suppose that same effect would be created by a large number of PV installations - but to me the difference is that at least PV does not have the added effect of vibration from teh turbines and the direct effect on winds passing through teh turbines being concentrated perhaps ie there must be some effect on winds after it has passed through teh turbines: a swirling effect I would imagine ie a disturbance that could - even if a distance away create that constant hum. I dont see a problem with a small individual wind turbine - its the very big turbines on the wind farms I see as a potential problem. But generaly speaking I think we are going to have to look hard at our consumption habits generally in the next few years - not just our consumption of power. Spirit Keeper Posts: 900 Jan 23 12 10:11 AM	Earthwalker In one of the written cases here (England, but not sure where as I've looked at too many of these things and I can't find the link now, sorry) the man who heard them said he tried going into nearby caves and found the noises were much louder underground than on top. Not sure if that's any use to your thoughts and deductions.

Waiting for what? I don’t know. I wonder if others feel this? Every person I know that is sensitive feels this way. I know I do. Waiting for something big. One thing that I've noticed is holes opening up. They're not gateways - they don't have gates - they're just splits in the fabric between here and there. I wonder if it's possible that the noise is coming thru one of these holes. I have a VERY active property and I've had to close several of these. ~RoseRed~ When my wings get tired I grab my broom.

Spirit Keeper Posts: 900 Jan 23 12 6:15 PM	Hi LadyRoseRed Oh I hadn't thought of that! I like it. Could it even be that tears in the seam between "here" and "there" could cause some kind of... I can't get a word. I'm thinking of the way air whooshes when you open a door between a room that has a vaccuum, or different air pressure. It creates a sound. I can't get words, but the idea of it is really interesting. :-)

Spirit Keeper Posts: 900 Jan 31 12 5:24 AM	Recent seismic stations have come forward to say the Earth's core probably shifted last year, Nov 15. http://seismonet.org/page...node=130&id_file=139 I think the connection between core and crust (the top skin) was severed.
