If you are looking for something you don't see here, please ask. I may be able to help you. I thought I'd begin a work in progress for you to explore...a dictionary of sorts. If you care to post those you know please feel free to do so and I'll be happy to edit them into the dictionary. I'll stick this thread to the forum top so it's handy for you. After spending time on other shamanism boards in the past, I often wondered what certain phrases meant but never asked (don't know why). My husband grew up in an area with many Navajo. He tells me that the standard greeting was something like "Yet ta hey." Does anyone know what this means? NOTE: Interestingly enough, we have inherited a home in the same small town where he grew up and we plan to move there within three years.

Unfortunately, I cannot locate the online one, or any other unless its in book form. Most of the links are dead in the one Cinn posted above. I copied and pasted the one I have so it would be handy for me. I think Wakeyelasapa has one as well.
