Hi CinnamonMoon
Thank you for the warm welcome. My passion is nature. I am on the spiritual path since 2000. I only got involved with shamanism 4 years ago when I had a connection with a cheetah who "channelled" some information about cheetahs to me. At the time I didn't understand what was going on and thought I was losing my sanity!. I started to seek answers and started to follow the shamanic path. I have done the "For the One" dance in 2007 which is organized by Jeanne White Eagle. I follow the teachings of Mother Moon (Sammye Jo Harvey) a Third Generation Story Teller of Chippawa Cree heritage when she is in South Africa. I also join whenever possible in sweat lodges. Have done one this weekend at Rustler's Valley, close to Ficksburg in SA. I read a lot of books on shamanism and have done an animal communication course, and various other spiritual courses as well. I visited Credo Mutwa last year to learn some of his wisdom. Although the name Ingwe refers to Leopard in many African languages, it also refers to Cheetah in Swahili. A language spoken in Kenya. |

Hi Ingwe,
Your path is unique yet in keeping when the shamanic path calls to someone. I hope you'll feel comfortable sharing your experiences or asking questions. We enjoy responding with our own. The Medicine Wheel Library is likely a good place for you to begin. All our libraries have lots to offer so enjoy walking the halls! Jump in anywhere, all topics are open to member participation.
