I have been interested in the Medicine Wheel for some time now, and while I have a very(!) limited understanding of the positioning of the stones, I have a few
questions. I don't want to begin doing the dance of the wheel until I have a better understanding of some things that have been on my mind. I am in the
Southern Hemisphere, so the seasons here are reversed, how does that affect the placement of the stones? Do they remain the same or do they have to be

I am putting this up as reminder at this stage. Crow and I have been discussing the notion of self-sacrifice and devourer as means to the purification etc of

The Celtic Year starts with Death/Winter on Samhain. Partly this is to reflect the notion that the womb is dark and "Life" (as in mundane Life)

She quoted an article on IVF treatment. The journalist writing it had tried several times for a baby and never succeeded. She said how everyone at her work had

The subject of soulmates came up in a conversation the other day and it''s not something I have ever really thought about in any great detail so I
thought I'd start a thread here on the subject.

To me a soulmate would be someone who would walk with us, but in the conversation the notion was put forward that a soulmate could bring a lesson but not walk
with us through the lesson ie that a soulmate would not necessarily stick around, even for a lesson...
